Cabo here we come!

Today I bought our tickets for our honeymoon! How exciting!! In exactly 5 months we will be married!!!

The only big thing I can think of that is left to do is to decide where to have the rehersal dinner...

Soon to be...

This is my new hoodie Justin got me for Christmas

I LOVE IT!!

This is Coco. She is 3 years old and is soon to by our new dog!! The picture was taken when she was younger. A lady at work is moving and can't take her with her...I am a sucker!!

She is going to come over this weekend to meet Duke to make sure they get along. I don't know why they wouldn't. Duke loves everyone and they are both boxers.

Best of Friends

Last week we also dog sat for Tucker. I was a little nervous because when they are together they are CRAZY!! But it went really good!! Duke loved having a friend there 24/7. They would play, then take a nap, play some more...
It was a great experience that led me to decide that we are ready for another dog!!
I know everyone may think I am crazy but oh well!!
More details on that to come!

Christmas

Kayla and her favorite dog Duke!

Abbey's belly!!

After all the drama of the water in the house we decided to have Christmas Eve at our house anyway. Since it was mostly family that was coming we knew they would all understand. It was fun and we had a great time. Christmas day went by fast. We celebrated with Colleen and Sara in the early afternoon, then went to my mom's for later afternoon and then to Jerry and Rhonda's that night, a busy day!!
The rest of last week was mostly spent relaxing and trying to get carpets and hardwood dry!

What a Mess

What a mess. The pictures below are what I have been dealing with since I arrived home last night at 7pm. It all started with the power being out on Sunday so I took a half day and went into work at 1 on Monday, now I wish I would of just taken the whole day off, I ran a couple places after work, got home, it was dark. As I walked up to the back door I could hear it, water gushing, somethig I never wanted to hear. I opened the door and there it was, a waterfall from the celing, all over my nice hardwood floor. Poor Britney was stuck on a random dry spot, Duke was freaking out i his cage not knowing what was going on. Luckily the water was not pouring on him. I ran downstairs trying to shut off the water and calling Justin, and bawling!! He got home right away and we have been dealing with it ever since! We got part of the pipe fixed last night, but had no water until about noon today. Then the insurance people came to suck the water up and left the dryers.
Lets not forget that we are supposed to be having Christmas Eve here...TOMORROW!
Gosh, everthing was soaking wet, the water went all the way to the basement so everything wet down there too. In one way we are lucky it didnt really get any furniture wet, just the part that is standing on the floor, so we mostly need drywall and celing repair, that means I will have to paint again, wanted to repaint the basement anyway!
So for now I have all the dryers going and 2 big holes in my livingroom/kitchen celing!

Ava wanted Cameron to sit by her, he didn't like it too much!!

This weekend we had our girls gift exchange. Alissa brought Cameron and Kara brought Ava. Next year we will have at least one more baby!! Its always fun for us all to get together. This year we went to Jessica's up on Eagle lake.

On the way home on Sunday I called Justin to let him know I was on my way, he infomed me that our power was out and that it was 42 degrees in the house!!! So I went home and got Duke and we went to Heather and DJ's to hang out. We stayed there most of the day. We talked to some neighbors and they said the power kept coming on and going off all day. It finally came on and stayed on!!

Our whole driveway and sidewalks are pure ICE and it is SO windy.
I just love winter...not really!

Done and Done!

All of my shopping and wrapping is DONE!! I know it's not too impressive since Christmas is just a couple days away but I am just glad it's done and no more trips to the mall in this crazy weather and traffic!!

So Close!

I am so close to being done with Christmas shopping!! I seriouly have 3 more things to buy and I know what they are so it won't be long until I am done.
I have also been wrapping as I buy so all my wrapping is done too!!

A very happy baby Cameron!

I can't wait to see Cameron (and Alissa) this weekend!!

Relaxing at home, Duke can never be too far away!!
He is such a lover!!
If only he would let Britney get that close to us without chasing her!!

Pet Refuge

So yesterday was my first day volunteering at Pet Refuge. I did really good and did not cry, although I was very close a couple times. I know the dogs have a better life at Pet Refuge than they did before but it is still sad to me. I don't know why but I was a little suprised at how good all of the dogs were! I really hope good people will come adopt them.

If I could I would bring them all home with me!!

Although my dream of helping animals is not cleaning up pee and poo I decided this was where I would start and see where it takes me!

I plan on donating some items to Pet Refuge this winter so if you have any old blankets, toys or want to donate some dog food let me know and I will take it.

I plan on volunteering once or twice a month for now.

Baby Cameron

Look how great mom looks!

Yesterday I got to go visit Alissa and baby Cameron!
He is getting bigger and so cute!! It was fun being able to hold him most of the day!!

So Cute!!

Let them eat cake!

Last night I met with the lady who will be making our wedding cake! It is just so hard to choose what type of cake I want. I have like 3 different ideas and don't know which one to go with!
I'm sure my mom will have an idea of what she thinks it should look like!!
Do I want simple or a little funky?!!
Decisions, decisions!
